A graduate from Drama St Mary's with a 1st Class Honours in Drama and Theatre Arts BA Hons (St Mary's University, Twickenham) and a fellow of The School for Social Entrepreneurs, Katie is working as an Actor, Director and Producer.
Her work has received a variety of nominations and awards; most recently winning the DEI Charity Film Award at The Big Syn Film Awards for short film ‘The Unseen Women’ for Portsmouth City of Sanctuary.
Katie has just finished playing Alice in Lewis Carroll: The Musical (The Other Palace Studio) and is on the UK tour of Dinosaur Adventure Live!
Theatre includes: Fairy Sparkle in The Priory Park Pantomime Experience (Chichester Guildhall, Chichester District Council); Sketch Show Bingo! (Edinburgh Festival Fringe), Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz, Princess Rose in Jack and The Beanstalk (Spillers Pantomimes, The Alexandra Theatre, Bognor Regis); Kate in CBeebies Kate & Mim Mim (UK Tour); Muse of Fire (Shakespeare’s Globe); Four Funerals and A Wedding(The Teenage Cancer Trust).
Katie has been working alongside Lorelei Mathias at Melon Comedy Productions since 2024 and in that time has produced the development of sketch show ‘Twisting my Melon’ including an industry screening attended by producers and commissioners at The Farm Post Production house, as well as helping to develop Lorelei’s new sitcom and reaching the final rounds for a slot on Radio 4 with the Radio adaption of ‘Twisting My Melon’.
As a producer, works include; The Queen Is Mad (A new musical) (Edinburgh Fringe), Quirks & Foibles debut live comedy show Sketch Show Bingo! (Edinburgh Fringe / UK tour), Cinderella: Panto on the Pier, The Priory Park Pantomime , commissioned for Chichester District Council, Wallis; A new musical from BramwellBrand Productions (Ed Fringe, The Other Palace Studio), The Ministry of Time, An Immersive Theatre Show (The Novium Museum) and Creative Director on Series 1 & 2 of The Novium's historical Virtual Field Trips for schools! A project combining her love for Horrible Histories, comedy and museums! This project which was shortlisted for the Arts Council's Digital Culture Awards 2021 and has been shortlisted for the 2022 Museum & Heritage Awards Best Learning programme.
Katie is one of the founding Directors of Chichester Fringe, (founded June 2021). Through Chichester Fringe, Katie became a fellow of The School for Social Entrepreneurs, thanks to Chichester Fringe receiving an award on the Community Business Trade Up Programme 2023.
